Water plays an enormously important role in solid-state pharmaceutical systems. SSCI has the capability to measure the water content of a sample in the appropriate manner. The water content of a drug substance or product may be determined using one of the following techniques:
- Karl Fischer
- Loss on Drying
- TGA
- IR and Near IR
- NMR
